When communicating with Denso Robotics support (support@densorobotics.com) it may be necessary to send a copy of your robot project for evaluation and assistance.  This article will help ensure all necessary files are sent and streamline communication requests.

Tools and Parts Needed

WinCAPS III and robot project.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Create a backup of the applicable WinCAPS project.

Step 2

The backup will create a project folder.

This project folder contains but is not limited to, some folders, and a file with the extension ".wpj".*

*Just sending the ".wpj" file is not sufficient.

Step 3

Zip the entire project folder.

Step 4

Attach the entire zip file to your email and send it.

Step 5

If *.zip files are not allowed to be sent due to a security policy, we have had good luck with changing the file extension to something other than *.zip.  For example *.piz is a popular choice.

To change the file extension, check the box allowing you to see File name extensions.

Step 6

Change the extension to *.piz, and resend.

Step 7

If your project is not able to be emailed due to file size, let us know and we will set up an alternative method to transfer.
